After a two-month residency on the topic on Friendship and Collaboration, we featured the documentations and artworks of the artists. We present their processes, their conclusions and a collective reflection on their stays in Talude, Quinta da Fonte, Quinta do Mocho and in the Bairro do Zambujal.

The showcasing will take place in two different locations:
Location 1 is the Casa Comunitário in Quinta da Fonte, in which one of the residencies took place and Location 2 is the Projectspace in Picoas Metrostation.

The two-weeks long exhibition on Friendship & Collaboration will present the different artworks of the residency last summer, aswell as artworks of previous residencies to show the continuity and connection of collaborative projects. The exhibitions are partly participative and have a programm like different workshops, artist talks, guided tours and gatherings to exchange.
The reason why we are doing two exhibitions in different locations is to connect the places and create accessibility for the residsents, from the places were the artistic residencies took place and at the samt ime create visibility, share knowledge and create connection for/to visitors in Lisbon.

How does Friendship & Collobartion look like in times of struggle, fights and daily life within an artistic residency? We want to open the spaces to discuss, exhange and learn from and with each other.

PUBLIC PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES

Align with the exhibition Friendship and Collaboration at the Casa Comunitária da Quinta da Fonte & Picoas Metro Station Project Space from the 6th to the 23rd of June we invite you to a diverse public program (seminar, workshops, roundtable & film screenings). All activities are free and spots are limited to the capacity of each place.

Make sure to book it in your calendar in advance and show up slightly earlier than the starting time to guarantee your spot.
